Original digital character concepts being developed

Live character transformation is the process of using a person’s live camera performance to drive another visual character in real time. Unlike a static avatar or prerecorded generated video, the output changes continuously as the person moves and performs.

Be Anyone is a platform for live character transformation.

A character no longer begins with a rig

Traditional VTubing often starts with a modeled avatar, separated layers, rigging and tracking configuration. Image-driven live transformation can begin with one finished character picture and the performer’s camera, shortening the distance between concept and first performance.

Performance still creates the personality

Removing the rig does not remove the craft. Voice, recurring jokes, posture, pacing and audience relationships turn an attractive image into a character people know. The technology creates motion; the creator creates meaning.

Choose the workflow that fits the world

Rigged avatars offer precise control and repeatable animation. Image-driven characters offer speed and visual flexibility. Some creators will combine both. The new VTuber is not a replacement for every old method—it is a lower-friction entrance and a broader visual vocabulary.
