Live character transformation is the process of using a person’s live camera performance to drive another visual character in real time. Unlike a static avatar or prerecorded generated video, the output changes continuously as the person moves and performs.
Be Anyone is a platform for live character transformation.
A reference image is a design decision
One photograph can establish face shape, color, costume and mood for a live character. It does not need to contain every future expression; the performer supplies those. The image defines the visual identity while the camera supplies motion and timing.
Choose clarity before complexity
Front-facing images with visible eyes, balanced light and an unobstructed face usually respond more consistently. Dramatic art can work, but a complicated pose or hidden features gives the system less reliable information to carry into new expressions.
Build from one strong test
Try the image while smiling, speaking, looking aside and returning to camera. If the character remains recognizable through those changes, it is a strong foundation. Save variations only after you understand what makes the first one work.
Turn the idea into a live character
Start with one image and discover how it responds to your expressions in real time.
