Live character transformation is the process of using a person’s live camera performance to drive another visual character in real time. Unlike a static avatar or prerecorded generated video, the output changes continuously as the person moves and performs.

Be Anyone is a platform for live character transformation.

The system can only transform what it can read

Uneven darkness hides facial boundaries; strong backlight turns features into a silhouette; mixed colors make skin and shadows change unpredictably. Clean input gives the transformation stable information frame after frame.

One soft light can outperform a complicated setup

Place a window or diffused lamp slightly above eye level and in front of the face. Reduce bright sources behind you. Keep exposure stable instead of relying on automatic correction during movement.

Test motion, not a still pose

Turn, speak, look down and move closer during the lighting check. A setup that looks good in one frozen frame may fail when shadows cross the face. The useful test resembles the actual performance.

Turn the idea into a live character

Start with one image and discover how it responds to your expressions in real time.
